About this Course
Learn how to elicit requirements for a project! One of the biggest challenges in the business world is knowing how to begin when you’re asked to work on an assignment or project. To get started, you need to know the requirements. What are you being asked to do? What is the final outcome that you are expected to produce? Who else is involved? What resources do you have at your disposal? What constraints do you face? How quickly must you finish the project? In order to find the answers to these questions, you need to actively seek them out through a process called requirements elicitation. This Learning App gives you the basic knowledge and practice you’ll need to develop effective requirements elicitation skills.

Stefano M. Stefan has 20 years of experience with UCI’s Division of Continuing Education (DCE) as an academic progam manager and online instructor. During his first 11 years with DCE, he managed information technology and business analysis programs in the Business, Management, and IT Department as Assistant Director. Currently, Dr. Stefan is a special programs director in Open Education (UCI Open), which includes such varied responsibilities as overseeing software development projects and managing the development of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs).
